It's been a while since I painted my nails, the only real way I've found to help stop the peeling I get is to let them go polish free for a while. On top of that, they take a bit of a battering in the spring and early summer when I'm planting and potting on. So this mani has been in my head to do for quite some time. Out of practice, Draycott Place splodges on to the cuticles, it's a great orange from Nails inc but does rather have that habit.
Having been so cross with the original MUA nail varnishes I was delighted to find that design had taken second place to usability here. No crazy chunky lid and tiny brush to deal with, making application soooo much easier. This was my first non matte shatter polish, a difference I was really pleased to see. I think black worked as a matte but the colours that came after not so well. This has been topped off with Avon Nail Experts 24k gold strength which I also used as the base coat. Pics were taken in shade and this morning's bright early morning sunshine. I really do love this orange purple combo.
MUA Pro Nail Quakes cost £2.99 - Can't see Broken Arrow on Superdrugs website right now :(
