Avon's Ultra Colour Rich Colordisiac Lipstick in Temptress

After my previous disappointment with an Avon lipstick, I was delighted to get the opportunity to try again from a different range. I like high impact colour and that's definitely what Temptress from Avon's Ultra Colour Rich Colordisiac Lipstick range delivers.

Half in shade - I took this in a hurry as I was rushing out with the Man this afternoon to look at ovens!

From the bullet colour I wouldn't have expected to love it so much. It looks darker and browner. It does have a slight scent - but I only noticed this when I re-read the product details and had a sniff.

Apologies for the used bullet - I grabbed it up as just the colour to go with my new skirt when I was heading out to Illamasqua last week where it received several compliments.

Usually for such a dark colour I would expect to use a lip sealer to keep it in place, but the colour coverage has been impressive - I don't feel self conscious that it will go patchy. All round I'm really pleased to have had the opportunity for a fresh look at Avon's Lippie's, because I had been totally put off by the Ultra Colour Rich Mega Impact Lipstick.  I still have Flirty Fuchsia to try out from this range and I'm really looking forward to checking it out.

Edit: Oops I forgot to say that these lipsticks usually cost £8.50 but are currently £5 - Contrary to what I said I don't have Flirty Fuchsia but Fuchsia Fever from the Ultra Colour Rich Moisture Seduction range. I'd love to see how those 2 compare and I quite fancy Drawn to You and Ravishing Red. Oooh wish I hadn't already broken the budget.

@Liloo - I felt quite good about it not going patchy - but it still quite easy to transfer if that's what you mean by catchy. x
