Following Sam's recommendation to layer the green colour from the Sequins & Shine palette over Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliner in Flashy Copper, I wanted to do the same with the blue from Glitz & Glamour over the Sparkling Silver version of the Eyeliner.
Eyes
Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliner Sparkling Silver
all over mobile lid and along lower rim
This liner has glitter in it but it does stay put due to the creamy nature of the product.
I do struggle applying this kind of automatic propelling eyeliner liner -
I think I must press too hard and break the tip quite a lot
Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad - Glitz and Glamour
I really packed the blue on to the eyeliner,
you could really tell the difference between the application on the lid and the winged out side areas
getting the colour consistency was much harder without the liner base.
White shade along brow bone / highlight
Touch of gold shade on lower inner corner
Purple shade along lower rim, winged out along the lower edge of the blue and blended in.
Avon Super Enchant Mascara
Avon Super Shock Gel Eyeliner Pencil - lower waterline
Face
Illamasqua Face Primer matte
Illamasqua Cream Shadow 120
Touch of Illamasqua Skin Base 6 (tester sample) as concealer under eyes
Touch of Illamasqua Skin Base 6 (tester sample) as concealer under eyes
Brows
I really wanted nude brows but some shadow colours really highlight that one of my brows is slightly more orange than the other
I equalled this out a bit using my favourite orange from
Frontcover Easy on the Eyes Hot
Cheeks
Avon Illuminating Face Pears,
which I really love at the moment for a natural cheek,
however I applied the lip colour and decided the cheeks needed ramping up a bit so added
Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Maybe
Lips
Sleek Pout Paint - Pout
As mentioned yesterday all Avon Sequins & Shine products are currently on offer. The Glitz and Glamour Palette being £4.99 instead of £8.50.

Gorgeous as always! I've just recently started using blue eyeliner again after a 15 year hiatus and I'm surprised how well it goes with my green eyes.
ReplyDelete@Annabella - Thanks! Blue has had such a bad reputation, but I love it. x
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the under the eyes liner - I had a friend back in the days (ie '80s) who always took her liner under the eyes and it was a look I coveted but did not have the gumption to try it. Dramatic without being scary. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI need to go back to colored eyeliner cause for brunettes violet is a must.
ReplyDeletegreat post
keep up the wonderful work you are doing here
