I'd been excited to see what the PixiGlow Collection, a collaboration between Disney and Pixi, including the development of a slightly more grown up Tinkabell image, since seeing a tweet of the packaging last autumn. I've got a soft spot for the artwork of the earlier Disney films and the combo with the pale green packaging was a big win with me. Even though it's a few weeks down the line, I thought you might like to see a few of my hastily taken pics from the shop, as it quickly had me hooked and wanting to go back for more. Charging down Carnaby Street to Illamasqua, I'd never noticed the shop to the right of the Makeup Store heading down Fouberts Place towards Regent Street. As well as Pixi, the shop has a large selection of POP Beauty, which is owned by I think, the sister or sister in law of Pixi founder Petra Strand. It's a great double act, as Pixi brings you natural shades, POP gives you the wow colours.

Aqua Glitz and Confetti Glitz over Orly Stone Cold Heart
With MUA Love Hearts Love U 24/7
Not the best pics, but the Aqua Glitz from POP Beauty is truly gorgeous and one I'm definitely going back for. It worked really well over the Orly colour I was wearing. Much as I love the blue of Stone Cold Heart I don't find this the easiest Orly to apply. The formula is quite runny and with my small nails, I always end up messing up my cuticles so that pics of it always look a bit messy. POP's Confetti Glitz I wasn't so sure of once I got it on my nail, I wasn't convinced by the sparse lone large sequin pieces, but it really grew on me and I'm still quite tempted by this one too.
