MUA Lip Boom - Bring It

You've got to love the idea on a 2 in one lippie and gloss for a night out - and this red fits the bill nicely. I have to confess though, I find the fruition of the MUA Lip Boom packaging rather reminds me of a 70's magicians wand. 

There is tape used both to keep the Lip Boom sealed and fastened into the promotional cardboard packaging. This leaves quite a mess to be cleaned up with a drop of surgical spirits or nail varnish remover, which is a bit of a hassle, but does mean that your product is fresh and untampered with in the madness that can be a Superdrug beauty counter.

Overall the packaging doesn't endear, but the product price combo, as with many other products from MUA more than makes up for this. Keeping the gloss the same size as the lippie,  together with a short wand means you really have to dig around in there for product. I think a thinner style lipstick to go with a more standard gloss might have been sleeker. The lipstick I'm liking a lot and the gloss despite a strong smell which I usually find off putting is rather nice. Vanilla and very sweet.

The lipgloss contains quite chunky bronze coloured glitter which remains on the lips when the gloss is patted down. Definitely one for a night out. Currently a pound off at £3, Bring It is a winning colour and I'm quite interested to check out LMK and It's a Situation. Available from the MUA Store or Superdrug.
