I'm really chuffed to see that the lovely Lillian from Funny Face's Place got to check out Illamasqua's Generation Q the other week. She really struggles with attending events, so it's a really big thing for her. Do go and check out her post as she has some great swatches too.
It's interesting to see Synth from Dystopia AW09 and a pressed version of Queen of the Night from Freak receiving a call back. Each of the 2 quad palettes appear to contain a matte, a shimmer shadow, a liquid metal and a pressed pigment. This seems like a great combo to reach out to Generation Q with. A matte is a necessity, and I get very frustrated with neutral palettes that don't contain a matte. Like wise I love the fact that the pigments have been pressed. These days I prefer to decant a bit of anything loose into a separate pot because it's so easy to end up throwing half the stuff everywhere if your grip is not what it was. And believe me, you don't realise what you had until it starts to wander off somewhere else!
If you didn't already, go check out Lillian or for that matter, my own ramble on Sparkling whatever your age!
