The texture is much more in the region of a sunscreen than a foundation, and not a very pleasant one at that. For school, on hot days, I use a once a day sunscreen on the kids. They last about 6 hours just enough to get them through the school day....they are sticky and thick and not a thing you would want to put on your face, but that's exactly what HissyFit Saving Face reminds me of. Honestly there are heaps of more comfortable face sunscreens I'd layer with a foundation, any day of the week rather than use this again.
Add to this the fact that, Nude, the lightest colour is too dark and too yellow and the coverage is nowhere near what I want from a foundation......more that of a tinted moisturiser....
Hissy on the left - nowt on the right
I was obviously having a bit of a spot issue and too unimpressed with how I looked to use the pics at the time.
The full effect!
According to my previous post I paid £3.99 for this foundation, which made my disappointment bearable. Normal price is around the £20 mark - then I would have been having a hissy fit.

I got given this by a rep a long time ago and I wasn't impressed with it either - may as well just use sunscreen to be honest! It's originally meant for the Aussie market so god knows how it's fare in the heat!
ReplyDeleteI really expected more given that it's for the Aussies and they are so hot on sunscreen :(
DeleteI also bought one of these ages ago (in the shade Light, hard to know in TK Maxx what the actual shade range is) and it is dire. I really do not like it. The only think I use it for it to mix a tiny bit with foundations that are too light for me in the summer. Bleurgh.
